The filter menu is accessible only after loading a logfile. It deals with filter application. Filtering editing is done with the Edit menu.
The filter menu contains these items:
· Filter Loglevel: submenu to edit the settings of the Loglevel filter. We recommend using the Loglevel filter toolbar instead of this submenu.
· Filter Date/Time: submenu to edit the settings of the time filter. We recommend using the time filter toolbar instead of this submenu.
· Assign filter...: activates the selected Custom filters -- or only a subfilter thereof, if you selected a subnode of it
· Release Filter: deactivates the currently active Custom filter
· Create Filter From Selection: used to create a new Custom filter based on the currently selected logmessages
