OK, here is how to do it:
· Start ITLogDemo, which can be found in the ITLogDemo folder in the program group of ITLogging 2.
· At startup ITLogDemo already creates a logfile and outputs some logmessages into it.
· In ITLogDemo, press the button "LogBook…". This will open ITLogBook, the program used for logfile viewing and analysis, with the logfile.
Technical notes:
· The logfiles created at startup will be stored in subdirectories of
<your temp-directory>\ITLogging2\LoggingDemoVC\StdLog,
usning the file extension "ILF" (iTech Logfile).
· The mechanism used by ITLogDemo for opening the logfile is the same as double-clicking the logfile in Windows Explorer.
It starts the program associated with the extension "ILF". The association from ILF to ITLogBook is made by the setup program.
