Deinitializes the logging library.
[Visual Basic]
Public Shared Function Deinitialize() As Boolean
[C#]
public static bool Deinitialize()
[JScript]
public static function Deinitialize() : boolean;
Remarks
Actions:
- closes all logchannels and thus flushes all pending output.
Return value:
- True after successful deinitialization
You get this return value too if the logging library already was deinitialized before the call. - False if an error occurred
Notes:
- Under .NET, we recommend that you call System.GC.Collect() before calling ITLogLib.Deinitialize. This will collect and send all ITLogMsg objects that have left the focus but were not sent by you so far.
- ITLogLib.Deinitialize currently endlessly tries to flush the output and returns only after succeeding.
