Delete Filter

Menu: Edit -> Delete Filter

Accelerator: <Del>

 

Deletes the selected toplevel filter or subfilter from the current filterset.

Before that you can get a checkback, depending on the filter:

·      for toplevel filters:

·      If the filter is non-empty you’ll be asked if you are sure that you want to delete it.

·      If it is referenced (used) by other filters you will get a warning with the option to cancel the operation.

·      for non-toplevel filters:
If the filters is non-empty you’ll be asked "Also delete all subfilters? ".
Press

·      Yes, if you want to delete the filter including all subfilters (child nodes) of the subfilter.
Note: Of course if some of these sub-subfilters are references to other filters this will NOT delete these referenced filters.

·      No, if you want to delete only the selected non-toplevel filter. Its childs (subfilters) will be placed on the level of the deleted filter.

·      Cancel, if you don’t want to delete anything.
