Using the context-sensitive help functions

The context-sensitive help functions aid you in quickly opening the help topic you need.

 

To quickly open the help topic for a particular menu item:

a)    select the menu item and press F1 (Help), or

b)    first click on image\help_directhelp_inhelp.gif (or press Shift+F1) and
then select the menu item.

 

To get help for the current document window:

a)    press F1 (Help), or

b)    click on image\help_about_inhelp.gif, or

c)    first click on image\help_directhelp_inhelp.gif or press Shift+F1 and
then click into the window.

 

To get help for the current modal dialog:

a)    press F1 (Help).

 

To get help for another user interface part of ITLogBook (toolbar buttons, status bar, dialog controls):

Use the Context Help.

 

Tip:

To get a list of all help topics, select Help Topics from the help menu.
