This setting affects the currently selected log channel. They relate to the feature of iTech Logging that the logging application at startup can automatically delete logfile sequences of previous runs. Without this deletion feature the space on the storage medium could be used up too soon.
This parameter defines how many logfile sequences from previous runs of your logging application should be kept.
As a consequence, a value of zero will effect the deletion of all old logfiles of the selected log channel next time your application starts.
Note: If a logfile is locked (viewed with ITLogBook, for instance), it will be skipped by the auto-delete mechanism.
Tip: You can also write-protect logfiles to prevent their deletion.
